The Final Year Games Design Show is a celebration of imagination, craft, and countless late-night creative marathons. This exhibition showcases the work of graduating game design students, presenting a diverse range of projects developed over the past year. Visitors can explore striking concept art that brings new worlds and characters to life, detailed level designs that demonstrate thoughtful player experience and environmental storytelling, and a variety of interactive prototypes.
Among the highlights is a fully developed tabletop game, designed from the ground up with original mechanics, artwork, and playtesting behind it. The show offers a glimpse into the design processes behind modern games, from early visual development to gameplay systems and worldbuilding.
Whether you are a fellow developer, an artist, or simply curious about how games are made, the exhibition invites you to step inside the creative worlds imagined by the next generation of game designers.

The Games design course at Cumbria University has been a fantastic learning experience that has helped me to develop my art skills, learn aspects of games design I never even thought of, and has given me a much need insight into the games design industry. After getting to experiment with concept art, 3d modelling, texturing, and many other things I have been able to figure out which I enjoy most and what I am most passionate about. Overall, I feel like this like this course has been a fun learning experience

The Games Design at Cumbria University I found was flexible and very insightful. They allowed us to choose our own paths in whichever type of Game Design we wanted to go into, whether it is programming, Level Design, or concept art. That and the area is why I chose this course. It got me testing different roles of the industry till something I found stuck which for me was Game Design focusing on level design and they helped me improve on that skill.
